Our Story

After years behind other people's counters, James decided it was time to build something of his own. Not just a coffee shop — a place. Somewhere you'd actually want to stay. Opened in 2023, our doors are built on one simple belief : great coffee should feel like a warm welcome, every single time.

The Space

More than a coffee shop — a place you’ll want to stay.

Natural light, warm wood, and room to breathe. Whether you’re here to focus, catch up with a friend, or just watch the street go by, the layout and the vibe are built for that. No rush, no noise battle: we kept the space small on purpose so it stays human.

That’s why we think it’s the best spot in town. Great coffee and pastries matter, but so does feeling welcome the moment you walk in. You’ll find power outlets where you need them, a mix of tables and comfy corners, and a team that’s happy to see you — whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth.

How long has The Roost been open?

Do you have wifi and power outlets?

Yes. We offer free high-speed wifi and power outlets at every seat so you can work or relax comfortably.

Can I book a table for a group?

For larger groups we recommend giving us a heads-up. Send us a message or call and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Do you roast your own coffee?

We work with local roasters who source single-origin beans and roast in small batches. We're proud to serve their coffee.
